Oramics Soud Lab
Oramics Sound Lab is a series of workshops that have been organized in different cities in Poland (so far: Warszawa, Gdansk, Poznan, Gorzow Wielkopolski, Torun, Wroclaw, Krakow) and in Swissland (Zurich).
We are a grassroots initiative. All of our workshops are a result of cooperation with amazing artists who share their knowledge and with venues that make their space and equipment available.
OUR WORKSHOPS
Our workshops are open to everyone and the admission is based on the idea of a free price, the participants can pay as much as they want and the collected money is given to the person conducting the workshop. During the workshops, we create a safer space for discussion and creative cooperation for people of various identities.
Our workshops is a place where learn how to work with sound but we alsol learn how to work with one another. We pay a lot of attention to the safety of our participant that’s why we work together in the atmosphere of mutual respect, patience and openness.
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
Oramics Sound Lab 2018: Summer Edition
We started our workshop activity in June 2018 by creating the programme of the summer experimental academy in Warsaw’s Klubikawiarnia Mlodsza Siostra. The meetings took place every two weeks on Tuesday evenings.
The topics of the workshops were (in order of appearance): Ableton for beginners, synth lab, building simple audio devices on circuits, mobile apps and tools for music production and audiovisual workshops.
Oramics Sound Lab 2018: Autumn Edition
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean.
Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar.
